Challenge #197 - Anything Goes

Hello to all our creative friends.  We're SO glad you've stopped by this week to join us.  We are fast approaching our 200th CHALLENGE and that means LOTS OF PRIZES for all of you!  Start telling your friends now, because we are going to have a BIG celebration that week.  But for now, let's get started with this week's challenge.  We have lots of fun in store for you.

This week our word art includes a beautiful scripture from Romans.  This verse tells us "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost".  Wow, those are powerful words.  You might ask yourself, "Am I filled with all joy and peace?  Am I constantly believing in what Jesus Christ did for me?  Do I abound in hope"?  God had Paul write this prayer because He knew that we would lose hope from time to time, and He wanted to encourage us.  He gave us verses like this one to remind us that when we are feeling depressed, and when we are losing hope; we can look to Him for the hope we need so that we can truly can be filled with all joy and peace in believing, and that we may abound in hope always.  Another beautiful thing about this verse is that it assures us that God has given us His Holy Spirit to continually help us stay filled with all joy and peace, and to abound in hope.  So, please don't ever feel discouraged when you go through difficult and trying times.  There's a simple solution.  Spend time with God every day.  Talk with Him, call out His name, pray to Him (ask for what you need), sing His praises, read His precious Word.  These things will help you to find the joy and peace you seek, and you can truly abound in hope; knowing that Jesus Christ is all you need - for this life, and for securing your eternal hope.  If you'd like to read an excellent commentary on this verse, you can check out this link:  Lesson 101: Abounding in Hope

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Here's this week's scripture/word art file.
